I’m a CS MMath student at the
University of Waterloo,
advised by Khuzaima Daudjee. My primary research interests are in database system internals. I am
particularly interested in adapting existing database architectures to modern
hardware. Previously, I used to be a Software Engineer at
QCRI, working on large-scale infrastructure
problems. I was primarily involved in scaling Rayyan,
an online research platform developed at QCRI and used by researchers around the
world. Rayyan was eventually commercialized into an independent
startup and now has more than
250,000+ users. I graduated from CMU-Qatar in 2018 with a B.Sc. in
Computer Science and a minor in Math. Tasrif: Processing Wearable Data in Python PDX1-/NKX6.1+ Progenitors Derived from Human Pluripotent Stem Cells as a Novel
Source of Insulin-Secreting Cells Keratinocytes Derived from Patient-Specific Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells
Recapitulate the Genetic Signature of Psoriasis Disease
I am also a member of the
Data Systems Group.
There, I was involved in computational biology research, working with
Ihab Younis
to build tools and pipelines for RNA-Seq analysis.Publications
